Implants

"Dr. Gausmann is very honest and goes out of his way to provide the best service for a fair price. He takes his time to speak with his patients and really tries to get to know you as a person. Good dentists are hard to find and he is unmatched by anyone."  – Renee C.

A dental implant mimics the shape and placement of a natural tooth. The implant consists of three parts. The lower portion is fused into the jaw bone and the upper portion is located above the gumline. The third part is a customized crown (or cap) which is attached to the upper portion, visibly replacing the missing tooth.

Implants are a superior option for permanently replacing missing teeth. They are immune to cavities and easier to keep clean when compared to other dental prosthetics. Implants can also be used to stabilize removable appliances like a dentures.
